Janome Machines

Over the last 5 years, I've purchased many different machines, always looking for that perfect combination of features that makes sewing, applique, and free motion quilting possible all on one machine. You can read about my search for the perfect sewing and quilting machine right here.

In this search for the perfect machine, I've spoken with many longarm manufacturers, sewing machine dealers, and repairmen. Everyone I spoke to said the same thing: what I wanted was either impossible, or would be extremely expensive.

Luckily I didn't give up hope and in July 2010, I finally found the perfect machine!

This is the Janome Horizon 7700!

This is a huge machine capable of beautiful sewing, accurate piecing, smooth applique, and stunning free motion quilting.

The biggest draw to this machine is the size: resting at just over 20 inches long, this machine has an 11" harp space. This is the distance between the needle and the right side of the machine. With this much space, quilting large quilts will be easier than ever!

But best of all, I was able to purchase my Janome from an authorized dealer that offers free servicing for the first year after purchasing my machine!
