Workshops with Leah Day

In 2009, I started the Free Motion Quilting Project and quickly began to receiving invitations to teach all over the world. Throughout 2010, I traveled once a month to various guilds and quilt shows while trying to maintain the project and our growing online quilt shop all at the same time.

Finally in 2011, I made the decision to get off the road permanently and focus solely on teaching online.

Despite this change, I continue to receive requests to hold lectures and workshops. Don't get me wrong - I absolutely love to teach in person, but the stress of traveling makes this very difficult for me and my family.

So the best solution is to hold workshops locally here in Shelby, NC.

We are conveniently located 1 hour south of Charlotte, NC and 30 minutes from Gastonia, NC (where Mary Jo's Cloth Store is located).

At this time no classes are currently scheduled, but we plan to try this for the first time in Spring 2012.
