How to Machingers™ Work?

Machingers™ have a thin plastic coating over the fingertips which allow you better traction and grip while quilting.

This coating is only over the fingertips so your hands can breathe in cool comfort.

Machingers™ are made of nylon knit in the style of a true support glove, and because they're nylon, threads don't stick.

Big quilts create drag that weighs down the quilt and makes it difficult to quilt evenly. Better grip on your quilt allows you to quilt with much more control and precision.

Machingers™ especially help when free motion quilting. The added grip and control over your quilt will allow you to spend more time "drawing" with your needle and less time fighting your quilt.

How to Fit your Machingers™ Quilting Gloves

Machingers are available in four sizes—XS, S/M, M/L and XL.

To approximate size, measure from the base of your palm (where your hand meets your wrist) to the tip of your middle finger.

XS fits hands smaller than 6.25"

S/M fits hands from 6.25” to 7"

M/L fits hands from 7” to 7.75"

XL fits hands over 7.75"

How to Clean your Machingers™ Quilting Gloves

Hand wash in cool water with mild detergent. Dry flat. Do not tumble dry or iron.

With extended use, lint and excess fabric dye may accumulate on fingertip coating. To renew grip, gently rub oil soap or saddle soap on fingertip coating, then wash according to care instructions.

10/3/2009 - I just wanted to let you know that I got the Supreme Slider & Machingers in the mail today & I love, love, love the gloves.  I'm making a wall hanging right now & the gloves make the quilting so much easier.  It doesn't seem like I struggle with the fabric when wearing them.
