No Sewing Until You Quilt It!Super Quick Applique Method by Ann Holmes
Learn a turned under, machine applique technique using French Fuse as a foundation. With french fuse your quilt will still be soft and cuddly - not stiff like normal machine applique! Enjoy the freedom to create almost any shape because there are no seams to sew until after you make your quilt sandwich. Then you stitch and quilt at the same time! This technique is not just reserved for art quilters! You can make bed quilts with this technique too! This DVD contains a 2 day step-by-step workshop that is condensed to 2 hours.

Foot and knee surgeries forced her to think of a new way to finish her projects to meet the deadline for the 2005 Asheville Quilt Show in North Carolina. French Fuse Applique - No Sewing Until You Quilt It is the result! Ann has tested her techniques from small wall quilts to a queen sized bed quilt. Skill Level: Easy and fun to do - you can do it too! You do need basic knowledge of machine quilting with a free motion foot and your sewing machine must have zig-zag ability. Special Note from Leah Day - I met Ann Holmes very early in my quilting journey and her method of applique really rocked my world! Finally I was able to achieve beautiful curving lines without hours and hours of tedious work. I've used this technique to create all of the quilts below:
