Pounce Quilt Marking Chalk

Cut your marking time in half by marking your quilts quickly with stencils and Pounce Quilt Marking Chalk.

This chalk pad is designed to be rubbed across your quilting stencils and in one swipe, filling in all the lines with solid, easy to read marks.

The chalk is specially designed to adhear to fabric slightly, but still be easily washed or brushed off when the marks are no longer necessary.

For marking continuous line designs and all-over patterns on your quilt tops, Pounce is absolutely essential for making marking your quilt tops a quick, easy experience.

Of course, always test the pounce chalk over some test fabrics first to make sure that it brushes or washes out to your satisfaction.

How to Use Quilter's Pounce:

1. Fill the pounce pad with chalk.

2. Prime the pad by placing it in the case and tapping it gently once on the table. This will get the chalk into the pad and ready to be applied to your quilt top.

3. Position your quilting stencil over your quilt and gently rub the pounce pad over the stencil. DO NOT TAP OR BLOT the pad over your stencil. Brush it across the stencil much like using an eraser over a chalkboard.

4. Once you've swiped the whole stencil, lift one corner and check that the marks are visible. Move your stencil to a new area of your quilt top and swipe again.
