Sunflowers Quilt

Here's an example of one of the many perks of being related to a quilter. My sister Mary moved into her new home in the summer of 2007. She asked for a quilt for her kitchen. Always a fan of Vincent Van Gough, she mentioned his "Sunflower" paintings and said she wanted something similar. I made the sunflowers very simply with bright orange fabric. Hopefully it will match with her new kitchen beautifully.
